Smart Document Processing
What changed
Previously, documents were processed by simply splitting them into fixed-size chunks. Now we use an intelligent system that understands the structure and meaning of your information.
How it works:
- Documents are automatically split into logical, semantically meaningful sections
- Each piece of information is properly contextualized for better retrieval
- Your AI agent will find and use the right information more accurately
Result: the AI agent gives more accurate answers and makes fewer mistakes, because it finds exactly the information the customer needs.
How to get started
1. Reprocess existing documents
Go to "Knowledge Base" -> find files without the "items" icon -> click the "Process" button
Reprocessing takes 3-4 minutes depending on document size. You don't need to delete and re-upload files — just click the button.
2. Upload new documents
When uploading new files, make sure the "Use AI processing" checkbox is enabled (it's on by default).
3. Review the results
After processing, review the generated knowledge base items. You can edit any item if needed.
New feature: create items manually
You can now create knowledge base items (products, procedures, contacts, FAQs) manually without uploading documents.
Simply click the "+ Add" button in the knowledge base items section and fill in the required information.
Recommendation
For best results, we strongly recommend reprocessing your existing documents. This will significantly improve the search accuracy of your AI agent.
