Custom Tools & MCP Servers

You can now connect your AI agent to any external system. When a customer asks about order status, booking availability, or product pricing, the agent will automatically fetch the answer from your systems in real time.

Create custom API tools: point the agent to any REST API endpoint, select the request method (GET, POST, etc.), and configure query parameters, authentication headers, and a request body if needed. Every argument can be filled automatically by the agent at call time — just provide a clear description for each one, such as a customer's name, phone number, or order ID.

Connect MCP servers with a single URL: add a name for your server, paste in the MCP server URL, and add any authentication headers required.

After adding a tool, you'll be prompted to update your agent's instructions — describe the use case in plain language and the agent will know exactly when to call it. To get started, open app.pleep.app/dashboard, select your agent, and click Tools in the left navigation menu under the Integrations section.
