Instagram Comments Now Trigger Direct Message Conversations

Pleep now responds to Instagram comments: when a user writes a trigger word under your post, the AI agent instantly sends them a DM and continues the conversation. The agent has context about the comment itself and the post it was left on. Lead magnets — guides, price lists, discounts — are delivered automatically, around the clock. A public reply appears under the comment so other users can see you're responsive. Available on all plans.

To get started, reconnect Instagram under Integrations → Instagram — this is required because comment access is granted separately and existing connected accounts don't have it yet. Then create a rule at Integrations → Instagram → Comments to DM → Build lead magnet: enter your trigger word and the link to what you're offering. Choose a word that doesn't appear in everyday speech — for example, GUIDE, PRICE, or GUIDE2026 — otherwise the rule will fire for users who weren't asking for anything.
